Yale Biomedical Engineering Conference 2023
November 4-5, 2023, Yale Medical School
150+ registrants joined us at the Yale School of Medicine to participate in a variety of events, including an undergraduate research symposium with 20+ posters, a career fair with 10+ companies represented, and post-grad panels covering Biotech/VC and Startups, Industry, Medical School, and Graduate School.

Yale BME 20th Anniversary Reunion
April 15, 2023 - Omni Hotel in New Haven
Yale's Biomedical Engineering Department (founded 2003) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a full weekend of festivities. Students, alumni, and faculty rememorated the department's history and took a look towards its future.
Boba and Biotech Speaker Event
April 6, 2023, 6-8pm - Watson Room A53
Former Pfizer research scientist and Yale PhD grad Dr. Matthew Hayward discussed his projects and experiences working for one of the biggest biotech companies, giving undergrads a glimpse of the engineering process behind drug design and delivery, as well as ideas on how to get involved in the biotech industry in the future. Undergrads also had the opportunity to ask Dr. Hayward questions about his experiences, as well as enjoy some boba tea and desserts!
BME Big Sib - Little Sib Unveiling
February 24, 2023 - William Harkness Room 211
BMES organized a big sib/little sib program to create BME “families” to help get to know people in the major and get advice from each other. These families were unveiled, and got to the chance to know each other through several games, as well as by sharing some Insomnia cookies!
